Review of D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994) by Russell G — 30 Dec 2011
It is a step down form the first movie, which tends to be the case with most sequels. There is a lot that was recycled from the original, but new characters helped the movie keep interesting. Coach Bombayâ(TM)s dilemmas of balancing his professional life and his personal life could have been done better.
This movie is not a homerun for comedy, action, or heartfelt family entertainment; it is hardly fresh or memorable, but it is fun and if you enjoy the first movie like I did this is worth the watch.
