Review of D-Tox (2002) by Wild Willie N — 04 Mar 2009
There is more or less two movies going on here. First we have a so-so drama about the emotional trauma cops go through and the difficult recovery process that enaues. Yet we also have a so-so slasher flick similar to Mindhunters.
Mix in some of Stanley Kubrick's The shining and a little bit of Saw and we have Eye See You, a so-so thriller starring Sylvester Stallone. Its not good, but it's not all that bad either. One partiuclar complaint is that the killer is revealed way too early; not nearly enough suspense or intrigue is built up and before you know it we all know who the killer is.
