Review of D-Tox (2002) by Monsieur R — 18 Aug 2010
Solid Performances let down by weak suspense and editing this film is highly influenced (direct homages) to THE THING, ALIEN, THE SHINING and SE7EN mixed into one film thats is far less interesting only saved by the great acting by most of the cast.
Stallone is great (still the most underated actor ever) and most of the cast do pretty good (especially Berenger and Prosky) but like I said before the film lacks suspense and could have been a brillant cat and mouse Thriller with a lot of tension but sadly the audience are 10 times ahead of what's happening before the characters know.
It's not awful but maybe worth watching on TV if nothing else is on.
