Review of D-Tox (2002) by Khaled H — 27 Dec 2010
This movie seemed like it was written with a template tool for thrillers. But with a sprinkle of horror movie framing and editing. It is very much every step you would expect. What I thought was especially bad was that it tries way to hard to have so many different characters.
This should have been a lot more low key and probably would have been decent. Instead, it is so over the top, even with stallone picking people up over his head. Painful to watch, and I don't mean because you can feel the impact of that overhead throw.
