Review of Cyrus (2010) by Jonathan B — 05 Feb 2011
The semi-loony plot reminded me of "Step Brothers", not to mention the presence of John C. Reily, but I was pleasantly surprised by "Cyrus"; it's as if the makers of "Step Brothers" exchanged their love of junior-high-humor, and jokes about bodily functions, for heart and emotional complexity.
This movie made me laugh a lot, the same way life does. Not like a dumbed-down Hollywood product.
