Review of Cyrus (2010) by Robert V — 06 Mar 2011
I was intrigued be the trailer for this one. I was a bit dissappointed by it, but in the end I had to say I liked it. John C. Rilley and Marisa Tomei did a good job with this one. I, However, was really let down by Jonah Hill's performance.
It fell very flat to me. It was as if he wasn't even trying. I also thought the photography was terrible(they used the zoom). The language was a bit too much. The story was over all good, but the resolution needed work.
I'm only giving this one 3 out of 5 stars.
