Review of Cyrus (2010) by Lilianetty L — 08 Mar 2011
I cannot say it was bad, but I think that what makes it REGULAR is the way it was filmed (did NOT liked the camera movements and editing).
Plot: John has been divorced for lot of years now from Jamie, and she will get married! WHAT NEWS FOR HIM! Anyway, he then meets Molly and everything changes...when he get's to meet her son Cyrus. Will he end up in a happily ever after? Will he accept his ex for getting married...again? To many questions, and the answers are on film. Stars for this interesting story-telling.
Acting: I was impressed by Marisa as Molly and Catherine as Jamie. Both were stunning and wonderful. John Reilly as John was great, but sometimes it was kinda ok, same Jonah Hill as Cyrus. The rest was fine, so, one star for that.
Music: I felt bored without this part. There was music and score, but not SO MUCH. Because of that, no stars.
To end this review (it is a REGULAR Film, with an editing look alike THE OFFICE, which is not that bad, but for a FILM is BAD! And the camera angles confused me sometimes, did not like it either), 3 stars of 5. Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA 7th ART FELLOWS!!! CHAO!
