This is the first movie that I actually like John C Reilly in and in the beginning it seemed to me that this would become one of my favorites. yet the movie never builds a story. it consistently has an almost awkward feeling through out it.
since I guess thats the hype of humor it was aiming for I guess. the characters are all very likeable in there own ways but as I mentioned the movie never builds a story. it focuses on Reillys characters awkwardness and loneliness.
the venerability from each character is some what charming, however as a repeat problem through the movie never was built upon. all in all this movie did have potential yet never was fully sought out.
