Despite what the casual moviegoer thinks, this is a great film! John C Reilly and Jonah HIll give spectacular performances. It's a dark comedy that showcases these two actors as they fight for the affection of a woman (Marissa Tomei).
The comedic stylings are well timed and well written. The low user rating is based on people expecting this movie to be a combination of Superbad and Step Brothers, but it's an indie styled realistic piece of dramedy.
I wish more comedies like this were made, it's intelligent, subtle, awkward, and looks great.
