Review of Cyrano de Bergerac (1990) by Senthil K — 13 Apr 2010
The best adaptations of the play of the same name. Great acting and a great music. But, the best of the lot is the dialogues - poetic! Watch for the scene where Cyrano speaks for Christian to Roxane.
I cannot conclude this small review without the mention of amazing English subtitles for this french film. They capture the essence and the rhymes of the original language.
(PS: This play was adopted as a Tamil movie - "Duet").
