I'm not sure what I was expecting from a self-purported "ABC Family Original", or from a movie I randomly found on Netflix. But this didn't just shatter those expectations. It found those expectations, verbally abused them, and made them spout a thinly-veiled Aesop about the dangers of the Internet.
