Review of Cutthroat Island (1995) by Mark R — 06 Oct 2007
This fun movie was unjustly panned by critics when it first came out. Perhaps they were uncomfortable with the switch of gender roles (Mathew Modine is the love object who is constantly being rescued by Geena Davis)?
The plot moves quickly and the film never takes itself seriously.
