Review of Cutter's Way (1981) by Steve W — 27 Aug 2016
Its the performance of a lifetime for actor John Heard, who would most likely be known for playing the Dad in Home Alone. When his friend Richard Bone (Bridges) is accused of murder, Alex Cutter (Heard) must defend his friend.
But the movie is not about that, its about cynicism, corruption. and all sorts of other nihilist themes. The movie is slow, but has incredible dialogue and a memorable ending.
