Over the top and slightly pretentious tragic family epic set in 10th century China replete with infanticide, fratricide and incest; lavish, impossibly grandiose visual production and mega-scale battle scenes, amazingly choreographed kung fu scenes, and some of the most dazzling, beautifully colorful set designs I have ever seen!
