Curse of the Golden Flower is a wonderfully told and visually stunning greek tragedy. There is drama, secrets, betrail, murder, and more secrets. When it comes to Chinese films of this kind drama is just not a suitable word.
Drama is in fact an understatement. C of the GF is a must see film for the set designs, the costums, and the acting. Its a very well done film that is visually pleasing and one that will leave you emotionally drained at its end.
