Review of Curse of the Golden Flower (2006) by Russ B — 20 Jul 2008

As all the other reviews point out, this is a fantastically beautiful film. The sets and costumes were stunning, and Gong Li and Yun-Fat Chow were convincing. If you like Shakespeare, you should feel right at home with the plot and conclusion.

I waited far too long to see this as it seemed to receive modest reviews from the critics. I now wish I had seen it in the theatre.
