Review of Curse of the Golden Flower (2006) by Dominika M — 20 May 2009

Beautiful color and imagery in the lavish set and costumes. The plot was interesting but the film was slow moving and there really wasn't as much martial ats in the film as I had intended, it was more just plain fighting and blood.

I had higher hopes for the film but the costumes, surprising plot, setting and the fierce Li Gong made it worth a viewing. Once is enough for me though.
