Review of Curse of the Golden Flower (2006) by Taneli N — 12 Nov 2009

I think I've never seen as colourful movie as this. There is almost every color in this movie and this makes this movie look amazing. Where the movie goes wrong is the over-dramatic plot that actually made me laugh a couple of times.

The movie has less action that you expected after Hero and House of Flying Daggers and I honestly think that the less people are flying around hanging from wires, like in the previous movies from the trilogy, works a hell lot of better than the massive battles in this one.
