Finally got see this film when I rescued it from the back of my DVD cupboard (really need to sort that out someday).
This film represents a slight change in tone from Zhang's two previous films in that there's more focus on the drama of the piece rather than the action.
Great performances all round and as ever with Zhang - beautifully shot with a vivid range of colours.
