Review of Curse of the Golden Flower (2006) by George P — 29 Feb 2012

I had high hopes for the movie, but in the end, was deeply dissapointed. I am absolutely in love with the set design and costumes. The color is this piece is beautiful! visually, it's a beautiful movie.

The plot and the action was meh. I mean, I love wuxia, kingdoms, martial arts, and rebellion, but this just wasn't done right. Overall, I thought it was very hollywood, and with such great leads, it's just really disappointing.
