Review of Curse of the Golden Flower (2006) by Mike B — 02 Apr 2012

This is a feast for the eyes! The incredible sets, scenery and heaving boosoms are jaw dropping. If there were say 10 minutes more of the kung fu action, this would get a perfect score. The story is Shakesperean and filled with surprises.

I didn't see the ending coming, though I guess I should've known, these films don't end with a happily ever after. Great performances once again from Chow Yun Fat and Gong Li, who may be the most beautiful woman in the movies not named Halle or Beyonce(that body really is bootylicious).
