Effective continuation of the Child's Play saga that reverts to genuine atmosphere and scares over the cheeky humor of the recent sequels (while paying homage to those as well). Overplays its hand in the end, but a pretty good follow-up.
...depending on which ending is the genuine one (Note to Filmmakers: pick an ending and go with it).
