Chucky has followed me my entire life. I'm 25 this year as well, and I can remember vividly, those creepy little Chucky plushies with the lick stick suction cups on his limbs hanging in every window.

I felt like he was following me everywhere growing up. Then my uncle had one passed down to him and he didn't know the doll was horror merch and he thought it'd be nice gift for me. I chucked it out of a two story window one night because I was so afraid.

Growing up being afraid of Chucky, it sort of spurned me into an obsession with him and other killer dolls as a teenager. Now that I'm adult, I have to say, I've been waiting for this film for 9 years.

I would find myself in crazy Google mode searching for any bit on new information about a sequel follow up to "Seed". The Child's Play Franchise has been a great thing to experience over my entire life and so say the least, I really wasn't let down by this installment.

I watched it all the way through twice before summarizing my feelings because I wanted my thoughts to solidified. I loved it. Sure there were a few inconsistencies, my biggest peeve being the fact that Chucky wasn't really turning human over the course of his stay in the dolls body, this film.

Other than that, it was nostalgic to have Fiona as the lead character. Seeing Jennifer Tilly and Alex Vincent again was a thumb sucker. I really enjoyed this film all around. I give it five stars for the pure satisfaction of a "love letter" received.

Don Mancini said in a recent interview that he wanted this film to be a love letter to fans. And he really delivered. I am sad that it was a direct to DVD release as I really think that this movie will rake in the bucks if folks buy it.

Which I think they will. Hopefully the next installment (if there is one) won't be direct to DVD.
