My Review.

When I was little kid I feared one horror icon,Chucky the killer doll. Most people did when they were a child,we would be kids and flip through tv channels to see what shows were on what stations and see maybe the killer doll doing something evil or killing someone. When I was afraid of Chucky it was because I was curious as to why a doll that is called good guy be so evil.

The first chucky movie I watched was bride of chucky which while watching the film I was scared but also laughing.I even thought that chucky actually was a good guy in that movie because he saved a couple from being shot in there van but it was for his own personal gain. After that I decide to watch the others years later. I watched Child's play the original in 2008 and I was even more terrified,I watched it's sequel afterwords child's play 2,then child's play 3 and finally seed of chucky. In an age of me watching horror movies my favorite was chucky cause he is a nostalgic fear that can be enjoyed as a good representation of horror.

After years of hearing about a Child's play remake with the same voice as chucky and rumors of it's release and the release of a sequel to seed called Revenge of Chucky. But later there surfaced a news of the chucky franchise that made a smile lit up on my cheeks. The article said that there would be a reboot and a sequel/prequel,the reboot to be released in 2014 hopefully and the sequel/prequel taking place after child's play three,the title would be Curse of Chucky.

In this prequel/sequel to the chucky franchise Nica(Fiona Dourif)is grieving over the death of her mother,her sister Barb(Daniel Bisutti)comes to visit with her husband, daughter,babysitter and a priest. When people start turning up dead, Nica discovers the culprit might be a strange doll she received a few days earlier.

This is now my second favorite horror and chucky film. I mean last year I called Cabin in the woods my second favorite horror film but holy crap this movie is so much better. If you have ever watched a Chucky movie then you must watch this movie. This movie makes connections to the first four chucky movies I mean it was so incredible it even gave us a little back story to chucky before he was a doll. The actors do a solid job and I'm sorry but that stupid line "It's a doll whats the worst can happen?" should have been changed to something like"It's just another toy".There was a now very misleading article about this movie saying that Chucky's encounter with the priest was suppose to be hilarious.

If your a Chucky fan you have to add this to your collection. It has a cool bright cast with solid performances,tons of gore for gore hounds,and a twist that will leave as speechless as the revealing of ghost face in the scream movies I give Curse of Chucky a five out of five.
