Review of Cure (1997) by P. Andrew S — 28 Mar 2011
A mysterious amnesiac is somehow hypnotizing completely normal people into committing violent murders upon colleagues, friends and loved ones. A determined detective played by the great Koji Yakusho (Kairo, Babel, Tampopo, Shall We Dance?) struggles to solve the case and put an end to the murders.
An intriguing tale of suspense told with the spookiness of only natural sound effects and minimalist accompanying music. More mystery than horror, this one definitely goes into the save pile!
