Polanski has been one of my favorite directors for quite a while now, and this film does not challenge that. Simply put, it is absolutely hilarious! This dark comedy showcases many of Polanski's signiture traits while drawing the viewer into a bizarre plot with even wackier characters. The second half of thie film is certainly something to look forward to... the only thing that was missing was someone falling/jumping/being thrown out of a window...
