Review of Cujo (1983) by Gena D — 20 Feb 2009
Not a bad movie. Took a while to set up but they really wanted to establish the characters were completely screwed.
Over all I did enjoy the storyline. So much so that my only complaint comes at the end. As a A.E.D. certified and C.P.R. trained individual.... 1) is it just me or was it WAY too late for C.P.R. at that point? Nice try though. But more importantly 2) sweetie, OPEN his mouth... you can just blow on his face, OPEN THE DAMN MOUTH. Silly woman.
Oh the other complaint was towards the predictable fact that she didn't shoot the dog (out of pity?) I love animals and even I would've laid a few lead pills in that creature.
And the "return" of cujo, even though I knew it was coming I still jumped ;p.
Why do I have a feeling the sequel would be a drama about the lawsuit towards the family that won the loto and had the killer dog. Who do you think would win?
