Review of Cujo (1983) by Jeff L — 24 Oct 2010
Cujo is an outstanding Stephen King adaptation, truly scary and unforgettable. The sequence with the mother and son in the Pinto, as Cujo waits outside the car, is among the most horrific and intense I've ever seen.
There's a fantastic rawness and realism to the scenes that elevates the horror -- the techniques in pacing and creating suspense are similar to what make great films like Paranormal Activity and Deliverance so damn iconic.
Absolutely fantastic.
