Review of Cujo (1983) by Douglas E — 09 Mar 2009
This is not as good as the book for obvious reasons. You don't get the descriptions of what the dog is seeing and feeling, only short shots of him looking tired. The movie starts pretty cheesily and takes a while to get interesting, but the plot is so realistic it's hard to ignore its psychological effects, whether from the dog itself or the cheating wife.
Some of the camera shots are really amazing and the dog who played Cujo is really great.
