Review of Cujo (1983) by Jake A — 04 May 2011
A Stephen King adaption I had never heard of this is an effective if a bit slow horror about a dog that has gone rabid, really really rabid. The scenes involvingthe dog killing are great and so are the scenes involving it attacking Wallace's Fod (no R on the car) Pinto which are tense and frightening though not very scary.
The rest of the film isn't really worth the watch but at least it doesn't over stay its welcome. The acting is ok though could be better, the score is decent and the special effects on the dog as he gets bloodier and a whole lot meaner are great.
