On the plus side: The dog is viscous. It doesn't matter what anyone says. The cinematography is exceptional, and Dee Wallace â" once she and her son meet Cujo â" was a terrific actress. I also, will give much credit to the young boyâ(TM)s performance.

The Cons: The movie doesnâ(TM)t really begin until about an hour in; brace yourself for about 45 minutes to an hour of typical soap opera affairs and boring dialog that has very little to do with the film. The movie also ends very abruptly, and leaves me with a few unanswered questions. This wasnâ(TM)t one of Stephen Kingâ(TM)s best tales. King, himself, even admitted that he wrote this story during his days of raging alcoholism and that he doesnâ(TM)t remember much about writing this story.

Overall Grade: C.

Itâ(TM)s just a dog, and if it were me, there is no way I would allow one dog to trap me and my son or daughter in my car for 2 days.
