Review of Cube Zero (2004) by Lucy L — 06 Jun 2008
Unlike the first two movies, which actually created some minor intrigue, this movie loses most of its appeal sometime after it leaves the first scene and shows us the people outside of the cube itself.
The characters are bland or out of place, and the tone never settles on anything that might actually make for a good plot. Its prequel status is questionable, too, but the series was never stellar to begin with, so that's just nitpicking.
Only recommended if you saw the first two and just want to know how they eventually die.
