Review of Cube Zero (2004) by Eric P — 24 Oct 2007
The entertainment industry nowadays seems to thrive on remakes, revisions, sequels, prequels, and any other technical term for pure garbage. "Cube 0" is a cheap production that simply slaps a few special effects together with one of the worst plots created in history. Quite unlike the original, the characters are oft forgotten, as is their mental state (which is what really made the original). New characters and places further let down audiences, as the outside of the cube is shown just for the sake of showing it. The twist, the only redeeming aspect, was even sloppily presented.
All in all: Chessman saves the day!
