Review of Cube 2: Hypercube (2002) by Laura M — 31 Mar 2008
Very different from the first movie but has its own good and bad points. The acting has improved from the first movie, but the concept of the cube is quite different, and uses some mathematical and physical theory.
I found the idea of the hypercube to be quite interesting. I also liked how this movie had a reasoning behind the cube instead of just random people shoved into a cube. However, compared to the first movie, Hypercube is all over the place.
Instead of planned movement from one room to the next, there is chaos and "running to survive." However, it overall wasn't a bad movie. Maybe the next cube movie will combine the good elements of Cube 1 and Cube 2.
