Not better than the first, nor worse, just different from it. Leaving the plane of torture and entering that of science fiction and paradigms, Cube 2 introduces the viewer to a world filled with needlessly confusing details for the simple notion of time travel (you start traveling, you'll feel a bit of deja vu).
Fair script writing, and a storyline that could have been better were they to succumb to explaining the details rather than reaching for the cliff hanger ending. Unfulfilling ending, enjoyable body, and a few laughably "this doesn't really fit" parts.
