Review of Cube (1998) by Robb J — 21 Mar 2009
An original sci-fi horror movie made on a low budget - I saw this years ago and liked it then but only after having watched it again recently can I see the "big picture". The biggest achievement here is some truly fantastic character arcs which although extreme 180's never seemed too forced or contrite.
The acting & the mathematics may seem a little off at times but the fact is this movie deserves to be considered as a sci-fi classic - it's originality, vision and suspenseful atmosphere are inspiring.
