Review of Cube (1998) by Aron K — 27 Apr 2009
Phenomenal. As with all Canadian film this is not without it's social commentary, though gladly, it is not what drives the film. It's a very unique type of movie, which can only be described as a pseudo-sci-fi flick.
We are given interesting characters whose true colours show through as the film progresses. Despite the intriguing nature of the "cube" this film is really driven by the characters. I was not bored at all, at any point in this film, it was interesting throughout.
Well written, well directed and acted. I really suggest this to anyone, it's hard to describe the nature of the film, but you really have to watch it.
