Review of Cube (1998) by Heather L — 14 Nov 2010
"Will you look at yourselves? What have you turned into? They may have taken our lives away, but we're still human beings. That's all we've got left.".
Favorite scene:
The five minutes towards the end of the movie that was Quentin-free.
Best performance:
David Hewlett as Worth.
Random thoughts:
I swear, the character and the ridiculously awful acting of Quentin were nearly enough to ruin the movie for me. Pisses me off. That, and the ending.
Ignoring those two things, it was a rather cool film.
I sort of see the Saw parallels, but I think this stands on its own. I recommend it.
