A by the numbers romantic comedy with no surprises and even fewer genuine laughs. The plot is so predictable you can see the ending a mile away, and although there are a few funny moments they aren't nearly often enough.

Nick Frosts character is a bit of a loser and you never warm to him, but there are some great supporting performances from Chris O'Dowd and Kayvan Novak. There were also lots of implausible things that bothered me about this film.

Why did Kayvan Novak's character take such a huge interest in the Nick Frosts character? Why did Nick Frost not lose any weight by the end of the film - he started off big and ended big - so big you never felt he was never capable of doing any of the dancing.

The dance off in the car park was so out of place it was almost like a dream sequence. Didn't expect much from this film and after watching it I have to say my low expectations were not exceeded.
