Review of Cuban Fury (2014) by Kevin K — 28 Mar 2014
Made very enjoyable by it's cast though the script is rather thin. There's not much of a story here but the actors bring enthusiasm and create an endearing quality to the film while also making much of the humour work when it could have easily fell flat.
It's good to see Nick Frost getting a leading role and both him, Chris O'Dowd and Olivia Colman have great chemistry; unfortunately Rashida Jones isn't given much to do. There are some great moments of humour in this film and an awesome cameo but there also many moments that fall flat of get really annoying (gay middle eastern guy) but in the end it remains light and fun enough to make it nice entertainment.
..it also makes you want to dance!
