Review of C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America (2005) by Fred B — 31 Oct 2006
This movie is worth seeing if only for the very well researched historical aspects that it depicts. It shows a world in which the Confederate States won the Civil War. It is meant to be a satire, and although a few part missed, it does have its funny moments.
I believe that it has key historical details that will be regarded in disbelief by the viewer. I particularly liked the way Lincoln was portrayed. Many believe that the Civil War was fought just to end slavery and have a vision of Lincoln that has been somewhat "polished" by the passing of the years and misinformation.
If you are a history buff and/or would like to find out more I recommend the book The Real Lincoln by Thomas DiLorenzo.
