Review of C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America (2005) by Amanda M — 15 Dec 2013
When I first watched this movie, I hadn't read a synopsis, and had no idea what I was in for. Incredibly pointed, it constructs a reality which is ridiculous to eyes used to political correctness, yet has a plausibility which simmers just under the surface.
It was hilarious, and yet it was hard to watch at times. I watched on a Saturday night with some friends, and we laughed until we were in tears, yet had to pause during parts so we could process.
