Review of Crying Freeman (1995) by Ardiansyah B — 20 Jan 2009
Highly stylized film based on the Japanese manga of the same name. Mark Dacascos is a truly underrated actor and he shines as an assassin forced to kill but who silently repents every life he takes. A great first film from director Christophe Gans who has gone on to make equally stylish films like Brotherhood of the Wolf and Silent Hill.
