I've not seen the anime version of this story, which most people say is better. I really enjoyed this film. It tells the story of a perfect killer, The Crying Freeman. A man gifted with perfect skills to use as an assassin.
A woman witnesses him killing three Yakuza members. She is fascinated by him and later when he tracks her down to finnish her off they fall in love. The Yakuza then try to kill the Freeman highly underestimating his killing skills.
