Review of Cry-Baby (1990) by Beau J — 23 Jan 2013
This musical set in the 1950s and inspired by the melodramas of the time, is about a rebellious greaser who plays rock and roll and the girls go crazy for him because of an eye condition that makes tears roll down his eyes.
This film should have been better, but the predictable plot and inconsistent pace can test one's patience. However, the stylish value of the film is unquestionable.
