Review of Cry-Baby (1990) by Andrew T — 21 Feb 2015
Cry-baby is John Waters' 8th feature film starring Johnny Depp as the titular character Cry-Baby Walker. The film is set in the fifties and is centred around the rivalry between the drapes and the squares.
The film is fun, energetic and completely over the top, everything you would expect from a John Waters films. The final act is not as strong as the rest of the film and feels rushed, but overall the film is a pleasant experience.
This movie is a lot of fun.
