Review of Crumb (1995) by Kevin R — 16 Jun 2007
Terry Zwigoff paints a documentary portrait of underground iconoclast artiste Robert Crumb and his family, in a terribly beautiful, moving, and downright perverse film that somehow manages to be inspiring.
Crumb's unstoppable talent, unashamed ways, and his tender love for old American blues records are all brought to bear with honesty and humour. One of my top ten films of the 90's.
