Review of Crows Zero (2007) by Michael R — 31 Dec 2009
Miike in his serious director personality instead of the boring tarantino shitmaker he often is. A bunch of kids want more influence and respect, but the protags have a serious sense of purpose in trying out leadership skills useful later in life when they'll have to direct the course of yakuza shenanigans.
Keeping a good heart in a corrupt playground. Whatever.
