Another piece of work Takashi Miike has made into cheap loving fun. Crows Zero was a rather iffy film to judge because of mainstream actor Shun Oguri's pretty boy looks. However his performance really showed a different side of him pulling off his characters image.
The story in general was simply basic but adolescent boys will enjoy its spiffy effects.
