Review of Croupier (1998) by William M — 18 Jul 2009
Clive Owen is the only stand out character here, but he brings so much charm that the film easily draws you in. I especially loved the inner monologue of the character, it really served as a way inside his head, as well as an opposition to the actions onscreen.
However, the characters are all over the place, always leaving me confused about their intentions. The plot is pretty sporadic too, and I didn't care much for the ending.
